Model-model ini dipasangkan dengan rantai Oyster sambungan tiga keping yang kukuh dan selesa. Rantai tersebut dilengkapi dengan Oysterclasp lipat dan pautan sambungan keselesaan Easylink yang dibangunkan oleh Rolex, yang membolehkan pemakai menyesuaikan panjang rantai sehingga kira-kira 5 mm.<\/p>\n

Oyster Perpetual diperbuat secara eksklusif daripada Oystersteel. Direka khas untuk Rolex, Oystersteel tergolong dalam keluarga keluli 904L \u2013 aloi yang paling biasa digunakan dalam teknologi tinggi. Penutup Oyster Perpetual dijamin kalis air sehingga kedalaman 100 meter (330 kaki). Penutup tengah jam diperbuat daripada blok Oystersteel yang kukuh. Penutup belakang, dengan jejalur halus di tepi, diskrukan ke bawah secara kedap dengan menggunakan alat khas yang hanya membenarkan pembuat jam tangan Rolex yang diperakui untuk mengakses mekanisme jam.
